The application of CNC lathe in industrial production also requires the choice of tool holder, which directly affects the performance of machine tools and the processing efficiency. If the number of tool holders is too small, the machine tool can not achieve certain operations; too many tool holders will affect investment. So the choice of tool holder of NC cutter should pay attention to the method.
1. Choose according to the processing technology of typical parts on machine tools. The number of tool shanks used in CNC lathes for drilling, reaming, boring, milling, tapping threads and other purposes will reach hundreds of specifications. The user only purchases a specific machine tool, the user can only choose according to the processing technology of typical parts to be processed on this machine tool. In this way, it can meet the basic processing needs without causing backlog, and is an effective approach to the selection method.
2. According to the matching number of tool holders. The matching number of tool shank is related to the variety, specification and quantity of parts to be processed by machine tools, as well as to the complexity and load of machine tools, generally 2-3 times of the required number. Considering that while the machine tool is working, a certain number of tool shanks are being pre-adjusted or trimmed. Only when the machine tool load is insufficient can it be twice or less. The capacity of tool Bank of machining center is 2-3 times as large as that of general automatic machining.
3. Choose according to the shape of the handle. According to the need of tool changing, spindle holes of boring and milling CNC lathe and its machining center are mostly selected as taper of 7:24 without self-locking, but the matching shank of tool shank and machine tool is not completely unified. Some shank has a cylindrical head at the small end of 7:24 taper. Others do not, which is obviously not in line with international standards. For the specifications of tool shank and spindle hole of automatic tool changing machine tool, it should be determined which standard tool shank should be matched with the selected machine tool. The tool holder required to be selected should be in accordance with the specifications of machine tool spindle holes (No. 30, No. 40 or No. 45). And the grip part of the tool handle should be able to meet the requirements of the shape and position of the manipulator, and the shape and size of the pull nail should match with the tension mechanism of the spindle.
4. Tool shank and tool with high processing efficiency should be selected as far as possible. In order to maximize the processing capacity of CNC lathe, the tool holder and tool with high processing efficiency should be selected as far as possible. For example, the double-edged boring tool holder is used to replace the single-edged boring tool holder in rough boring, which improves the processing efficiency and reduces the vibration at the same time. When processing, choosing the strong spring chuck can not only clamp the straight shank cutter, but also clamp the hole cutter through the connecting rod.
