How to deal with the high requirements of the industry?
November 15, 2021
With the higher and higher requirements of users, the requirements of the industry for CNC tool holders have been correspondingly improved. Starting with the just needs in the industry, the types and application degrees of CNC tool holders are differentiated. Take mobile phones as an example. The display screen, middle frame of mobile phones and other frames are divided into fine machining, rough machining and other methods, and the required CNC tool holders will be different. What's the difference?
When selecting equipment or machine tools for CNC tool holders, it will become more and more obvious. For general machining, the spindle conforming to BT30 and BT40 series tool holders can be selected; In the area of finish machining, such as precision engraving machine and multi-purpose ISO spindle series, the higher requirement is HSK's vacuum short handle, high-speed tool handle and so on, which is also a great challenge to the tool handle. Different tool handles need to be designed according to different processing fields and processing requirements.
First of all, materials with good comprehensive properties should be selected. In terms of heat treatment, they will be more severe, and the surface hardness and surface treatment should be controlled; On the other hand, in terms of the performance of the tool handle, if you want to deal with high speed, you need to improve the dynamic balance to a higher level, and there are relatively high requirements for the conventional processing technology. Therefore, the mobile phone industry tends to choose ISO series in the selection of tool handle. This series is mostly used in the processing field, with the characteristics of high speed and high precision, which is more in line with the product expectation.
Under high-intensity work, the tool handle often produces side effects such as corrosion. In order to reduce economic losses, like Sheng Anbei, it is generally recommended to clean all functional surfaces with antirust oil and keep it in a dust-free and dry environment. The so-called corrosion is actually an electrochemical oxidation process between metal and external oxidant. There are many ways to prevent this kind of metal corrosion, such as coating technology and anti-corrosion matrix materials can effectively avoid this risk.
Many working mechanisms have gradually adopted these technologies. At present, blackening treatment is generally adopted on the non grinding surface of the tool handle, aluminum alloy is also used as the matrix, stainless steel is also selected, and chromium plating is carried out on the outer surface of the tool handle. All these solutions are cost-effective.
