Single edge boring cutter
The structure of single edge boring tool head is similar to turning tool. It has only one main cutting edge. It has the advantages of simple structure, convenient manufacture and strong versatility, but its rigidity is much worse than turning tool. Therefore, the single edge boring cutter usually selects larger main and secondary deflection angles, smaller blade inclination angle and tool tip arc radius to reduce the radial force during cutting.

Multi edge cutting
Multi edge boring includes two or three cutting edges, which can be used in the roughing process when the material removal rate is the preferred factor. By using two or three edge tools, setting the blade to the same axial height and processing under the recommended feed per tooth, high production efficiency can be obtained, and feed per revolution to the hole?
Double edge boring cutter
The two cutting edges of double-edged boring cutter cut at two symmetrical positions at the same time, so the machining error caused by the action of radial cutting force on boring bar can be eliminated. When this kind of boring cutter cuts, the diameter of the hole is guaranteed by the cutter, and the outer diameter of the cutter is determined according to the diameter of the workpiece. The structure of this kind of boring cutter is more complex than that of single edge boring cutter, and it is more difficult to manufacture the blade and cutter bar, but the productivity is higher. Therefore, it is suitable for the occasions with high machining accuracy and large batch production.
